James DaSilva is a session guitarist, composer, arranger, and educator living in Nashville, TN. He is a recent graduate of Belmont University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Business. He has performed live and in the studio with such artists as the Annie Moses Band, David Liebman, Rod McGaha, Mike Farris and the Roseland Rhythm Revue, Cyrus Chestnut, Adam Nitti, Mike Whitaker, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Rahsaan Barber, Roland Barber, John Ellis, Rodney Whitaker, Bob Franceschini, Victor Wooten, Phil Lassiter, Chester Thompson, The Megaphones, Dara Tucker, Imer Santiago, and many others.

In addition to performing, James is also a veteran music instructor of several prominent musical institutions in the Nashville area: the Nashville Jazz Workshop, the Conservatory of Annie Moses, Fine Arts Summer Academy, and the Jam Summer Music Camp. James is also a music transcriber and engraver with Living Stone Music Co. He lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Camille.
